The Mexican Fine Arts Center Museum’s (MFACM) Permanent Collection contains over 5,000 objects, and is one of the largest collections of Mexican art in the nation. The MFACM is the only Latino museum accredited by the American Association of Museums and one of only a handful of museums of color in the country to receive accreditation. It has become the premier repository for Mexican art in the nation. In 2001, the Museum tripled in size to accommodate state-of-the-art storage vaults and additional galleries to showcase its Collection.

Artwork from the Permanent Collection can be enjoyed in our ongoing exhibition Mexicanidad: Our Past Is Present. Many pieces are also featured in temporary exhibitions, both at the MFACM and on loan to other museums.
